Following selloffs in these equities, including Lasaco, and PZ, the bourse’s capitalisation fell to N33.05 trillion, from N33.73 trillion.

Top five gainers
- Consolidated Hallmark Insurance’s share appreciated by 10 per cent to rise from N0.90 to N0.99 kobo per share.
- Eterna grew by N2.30 kobo, up from N23.10 kobo to N25.40 kobo per share.
- Chams ended trading with N0.89 kobo from N0.81 kobo per share, rising by 9.88 per cent.
- ETranzact gained N0.70 kobo to end trading at N7.79 kobo, having opened with N7.09 per share.
- Skyway Aviation’s stock was up by N1.10 kobo, closing at N12.25 kobo from N11.15 kobo per share.
Top five losers
- Lasaco depreciated by N0.37 kobo, dwindling from N2.67 kobo to N2.30 kobo per share.
- PZ also fell by N2.30 kobo to end trading at N20.70 kobo, after opening at N23 per share.
- Wema Bank followed the same path, losing N0.58 kobo after trading hours, to sell at N5.23 kobo from N5.81 kobo per share.
- BUA Cement reported a decline of N9.10 kobo from the previous day’s share price of N92.25 kobo to end trading at N83.15 kobo per share.
- Transcorp Plc’s share depreciated to N3.48 kobo from N3.86 kobo, after losing N0.38 kobo during trading hours.

- Sterling Financials recorded 107.53 million shares valued at N411.13 million.
- Transcorp Plc saw investors trade 105.87 million shares valued at N381 million.
- UBA recorded 87.32 million shares exchanged on its floor, worth N1.11 billion.
- Access Corporation reported 77.84 million shares, valued at N1.34 billion, exchanged investors’ hands.
