Today’s match will be played at the Stade Hassan Stadium, Rabat. Kick off is 6pm Nigerian time.

The African queens coached by Randy Waldrum are nine-time African champions from the previous 11 editions of the tournament.

Super Falcons’ Francesca Ordega has been ruled out of the WAFCON

The team are however rocked by the news that veteran forward Francesca Ordega has been disqualified from participating in the WAFCON due to ‘health reasons’ albeit the details have not been given by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Zambia’s Elizabeth Banda has however been officially declared ineligible to play for the ‘Shipolopolo’ after a testerone sample found in her system effectively ruled that she cannot be referred to as a woman.

A new FIFA rule on players having both male and female testerone means that women with that condition cannot be allowed to play in competitions for ladies.
