Speaking at the event, Kumuyi, thanked God for the new administration that is about to start.

He prayed for God to grant Trump the wisdom to lead well, make good decisions and remain focused on his campaign promises.

The DLCM General Superintendent also prayed that God would grant the church in America the grace of unity, revival, knowledge, vision and forthrightness to speak truth to power.

He equally prayed to God to purge the church so that there will be the holiness and righteousness expected of it and that the church would also have a meaningful ministry in the government of America.

He urged the church to strive for righteousness and holiness, highlighting their significance in creating national change.
