Controversial activist and social media influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has condemned in strongest terms the absence of main character Bobrisky as he appeared before the House of Representative probe panel.

Infuriated by the absence of equally controversial cross gender, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, VDM vowed not to say anything or respond to questions in his or her absence.

Bobrisky it  will be recalled had claimed that officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Nigerian Correctional Services demanded the sum of N15 million from him to serve his prison term at a VIP Section of the Kirikiri Medium Custodial Centre, Lagos.

A claim which VDM brought to the limelight via social media calling on authorities not only to investigate the matter but bring everyone involved to book.

He played voice interview with Bobrisky to the public and arrived the House of Reps probe panel in style Monday accompanied by his ifa Priest.

Looking ready with his team to offer evidences on the matter, VDM however refuse to talk after realising that Bobrisky was nowhere to be found.

Invited to the podium to brief the Investigating Committee, VDM said, “I don’t know why I will be here and the person who made these allegations is not here.

“Bobrisky said in the voice note that there is a godfather. Maybe the godfather told him not to come. He has disrespected this committee by not coming here.

“You are already threatening me with arrest. If you detain me, I will stay in the cell.

“If Bobrisky is not here, I will not say anything. If I say anything, let me die,” he said.

Meanwhile, VDM has however apologised to Femi Falana (SAN) over his remarks about the human rights lawyer.

“Some people are taking advantage of what is going on to target Femi Falana,” the fitness guru said.

“Here, I apologise to him for the dent to his name. It’s so sad that his name was inside that audio. I couldn’t believe as well; that is the part that irritated me more when I said I refuse to believe that he is a party to something like that.”

The apology came nearly a week after he shared an audio conversation wherein Bobrisky, the social media celebrity, claimed that Falana and his son Falz helped drop the money laundering charges against her by the EFCC.

In the recording, Bobrisky alleged that she spoke with Falz in prison and that the rapper and his dad “tried to get me a presidential pardon in exchange for N10,000,000.″

Falana had described it as a “vicious and reckless” attempt to “impugn my reputation.”

The SAN also issued a 24-hour ultimatum to the Abuja-based activist to retract his statement or face legal action.
