UCL Update: Salah, Nunez Score In Anfield, Liverpool Finishes Second In Group A

Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez were on the scoresheet late Tuesday night as Liverpool defeated Napoli 2-0 at Anfield to finish as runners up in Group A of the UEFA Champions League.

The game was heading to a scoreless one before the two late strikes. The Reds had two goals ruled out for offsides.

The goals scored were significant and for Salah, it means matching record of 18 Champions League goals at Anfield in his 29th outing.

One of the highlights of the game was the physical challenges eteeen Nigeria international Victor Osimhen and the defensive duo of Virgil Van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate.
