Mouth watering games between European football heavyweights headlines the draw for the Round of 16 stages of the UEFA Champions League stages held on Monday, November 7 in Nyon reports Prime Business Africa.

The round of 16 features 16 teams that advanced from the group stage.

PSG and Liverpool who both finished as runners-up in their groups was always going to cause some problems and both sides have big tasks ahead of them to reach the quarterfinals.

Lionel Messi and co. will have to overcome Bayern Munich, while Liverpool go up against the Champions League’s most successful team with 14 titles in Real Madrid.

An AC Milan vs. Tottenham tie will also see Antonio Conte face the Italian club he led to a league title, while Chelsea will be up against Borussia Dortmund over two legs.

The round of 16 ties will be played on February 14, 15, 21 and 22, and the return legs on March 7, 8, 14 and 15. As in the group stage, teams from the same country cannot play each other.

European governing body UEFA spreads out the Round of 16 matchups over the course of a full month.

UEFA will slot each Round of 16 matchup drawn into one of four available dates, allowing for three weeks between the first and second leg of each series.
