Former Super Eagles and Dynamo Kyiv striker, Brown Ideye, is back to origin after joining two-time CAF Champions League winner, Enyimba in the NPFL.
Ideye is following the footsteps of Super Eagles Captain and former Al-Nassr star,Ahmed Musa, who has since been enjoying his return to the local league and posting impressive performance for Kano Pillars. Many believe having more players who have hitherto plied their trades in foreign leagues return to the NPFL will further boost the quality of the league and increase the chances of making better impact in continental competitions like the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup where Nigerian club sides have been struggling to hold their own over the years.
