Bayern paid the sum of £100m to acquire the services of the England captain who came off the substitute bench in the Cup final.

Gent’s star striker Orban, who is expected to make his Nigeria debut this year after a string of high-profile performances in the calender year, is reportedly one of the players on the shortlist of manager Ange Postecoglou.

Spurs’ first choice in the striking role as replacement for Kane according to the Daily Mail was Nottingham Forest’s Brennan, Johnson but his counterpart, Steve Cooper is reluctant to sanction the departure of his promising youngster.

However, they have reportedly been in contact with Orban’s representatives and are expected to make offers for the 21-year-old, who is valued at £30m by Gent in the coming days according to Sacha Tavolieri.

Orban opened his goals account for the new campaign with a hat-trick in Gent’s 5-0 drubbing of Pogon Szczecin in the first leg of the third qualifying round of the Europa Conference League played on Thursday.
