Addressing the congregation, Mrs Tinubu stated, “We just came back from UNGA; it was successful for us as a nation. The world awaits Nigeria, and investors are teaming up. We came back with good news. All we inherited are things that happened many years ago. We are not here to put the blame on any administration, but to fix what has been damaged.”

She acknowledged that her husband was not a magician but assured Nigerians that he would strive to bring about positive change. “My husband is not a magician. He is going to work brick-by-brick, and I believe and have hope that you will have faith in this administration. The best is yet to come,” she affirmed.

The First Lady also called on Nigerians to look beyond the current challenges facing the nation and embrace hope. She encouraged citizens to follow the example of Jesus Christ, emphasizing the importance of qualities such as love, joy, peace, and forgiveness in achieving good governance.

“Nigerians must look beyond their current realities and embrace hope anew. If we do not have hope, how do we become part of this greatness that God has started in the nation? We find through the love of Christ a deeper message of hope,” Mrs. Tinubu said, citing this year’s celebration theme, “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

In these challenging times, Senator Remi Tinubu’s message calls for unity, faith, and optimism in the face of adversity, setting a fresh angle on the nation’s path toward progress.
