The DC Studios’ highly anticipated superhero movie “The Flash,” starring Ezra Miller, has released another thrilling trailer ahead of its first full screening at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
The film is set to break open the DC multiverse by bringing together multiple versions of iconic superheroes, promising an epic crossover event for fans.

The first trailer revealed that there will be at least two different versions of Barry Allen, aka the Scarlet Speedster, played by Miller, across different dimensions. In the film, Barry travels to an alternate world where his mother was not murdered, in a desperate attempt to prevent her death.

However, he becomes trapped in another reality where superheroes do not exist. The main timeline’s Barry must team up with another world’s Barry and the super-strong Kryptonian hero Supergirl, portrayed by Sasha Calle, to stop the villainous General Zod, played by Michael Shannon, who returns from 2013’s “Man of Steel.”

As if the alternate-universe superheroes weren’t enough, “The Flash” also brings in two different Batmen. Both Michael Keaton’s and Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusaders will appear in the movie, creating an unprecedented crossover of the beloved characters. Affleck’s Batman and Miller’s Flash previously crossed paths in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and had cameos in the original “Suicide Squad.”

They teamed up in “Justice League” in 2017, and “The Flash” will mark their first major return, potentially serving as their last appearances as DC Studios plans to reboot their universe under the leadership of newly installed co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran.

The cast of “The Flash” also includes Ron Livingston and Maribel Verdú as Barry’s parents, Kiersey Clemons as Barry’s love interest Iris West, and Temuera Morrison, known for his role in “Aquaman,” returning as Thomas Curry, Aquaman’s father.

The film is helmed by director Andy Muschietti, known for his work on the “It” horror movies, adding anticipation and excitement for what promises to be an epic superhero spectacle.

With its ambitious multiverse storyline and star-studded cast, “The Flash” is shaping up to be a must-watch for DC fans and superhero enthusiasts alike.

The film is set to bring together beloved characters from different dimensions and timelines, promising an action-packed adventure that will leave audiences eagerly anticipating the next chapter in the DC cinematic universe.

“The Flash” hits theaters on June 16.
