Actress Tessa Thompson and filmmaker Nia DaCosta are teaming up for an upcoming movie adaptation of the 1891 play Hedda Gabler.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Thompson will star in the film, while DaCosta will direct and produce the project. The play tells the story of a general’s daughter who is trapped in a marriage and feels unhappy.
