The outfit appeared to show protrusion sparking off speculation that the ‘born in the wood’ exponent was expecting.

Speaking on an episode of ‘The Breakfast Club’, the Nigerian singer was asked about the wildest rumour she had heard about herself, to which she replied, “Probably the pregnant thing.”

The “Me n U” c responded to the rumours with humour and confusion, as she questioned why Future, in particular, was linked to the rumour and wondered why other artists like Wizkid or Drake weren’t mentioned instead.

Tems said, “The wildest thing I’ve heard about myself is probably the pregnancy, I don’t know where it came from; I have no clue. I was just minding my business being homeless, but it was all so crazy, and I think it’s because of people recognising me.

“People just take the most controversial things. Because I was thinking like, why am I pregnant for Future? Why Future? Because that’s the craziest.

“Why not Wizkid? Why not Drake? Why not somebody else? If it was Drake, it would be the same thing but the reason why it is Future is because of his reputation.”

Tems went on to explain that Future’s reputation as a ladies’ man, with multiple children, likely fuelled the rumour.

Future of the Bum Bum Tam Tam fame is the father of seven children by his account, each with different women, although another child’s paternity has been litigated.

He has also adopted the son of one of the mothers of his daughter. In October 2013, Future was engaged to Ciara, who is the mother of one of his sons, but she ended the engagement in August 2014 due to his infidelity.

In 2019, two women from Florida and Texas respectively filed paternity suits claiming that Future was the father of their respective daughter and son. The Texas woman however made a u-turn In 2020, dropping her paternity suit.

Recall that Future about two years ago expressed admiration for Tems, saying that her voice is “amazing” and it instantly connected to his soul.

Nigerians in a swift reaction then in what could pass for protecting one of their own responded, telling him to make sure “it ends just as admiration and that he shouldn’t take it any further”
