Tems On The Official Soundtrack For The New Wakanda Forever

Nigerian and now global artist, Tems is featured on the official soundtrack for the new Wakanda Forever movie. She did a perfect rendition of Bob Marley’s ‘No Woman, No Cry’. This was announced on Twitter and this has had everyone going crazy that even foreign artistes who might have never heard her name have now been able to hear her voice and know her music.

Tems has been a ground-breaking sensation since her debut as she has been able to capture hearts and communicate feelings through her music. It’s been amazing to see her growth and how she skyrocketed just by using her talent. She has collaborated with different artistes all over the world from Wizkid, Drake, Khalid, Davido, Future and even Beyoncé; she has achieved all this without even having an album out!

A year after she released “Try me”, being on of her major hit songs that currently has over  about 4.3million views. Her single ‘Damages’ from her EP also became another hit for this talented artiste. This beautiful Nigerian female artist also got 2 nominations and made it to vogue list of ‘9 black talents that you must know of’. She got her first appearance on Billboard Hot 100 with Wizkid’s of the summer, ESSENCE.

She has definitely been shining through and it’s an amazing story to hear! She somehow makes sure to pass her message and emotions through her music; days where she felt that she was better off dead or days where she thought that her hardwork might not pay off, all of that pain and worry and growth she gracefully transformed it into her music and birthed an amazing sound that is carrying her around the world.

Afrobeats  is definitely  proud of the heights that she has attained and the exposure that she has brought and anticipate so much more achievements to come her way!

In counting her achievements, it’s also right to recognize that she has surpassed 700 million streams on the Spotify platform. She is definitely doing something right!
