Super Eagles Captain Musa Gifts Jos-based Schools With Books, Bags

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has continued to express his humanitarian gesture and has donated books and school bags to the students of M&S International School in Plateau State.

Musa was an unused substitute in the Super Eagles’ narrow 3-2 win over Sierra Leone in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Sunday in Monrovia.

“(I) Visited one of my newly opened schools today to spread the magic of books and learning! Donated quite a number of textbooks to encourage our leaders of tomorrow,” Musa told the media.

“It’s incredible how education can shape young minds and empower our future generation. Let’s inspire and encourage every parent out there to prioritize their child’s education! Together, we can create a brighter tomorrow.”

Musa had earlier announced the commencement of the school project last year, saying that he was not unaware of the need to give back to the community that made him.

The Jos-born Super Eagles forward wrote completed the building of the school in 2022 as he explained the rational behind the school:

“I am not ignorant of the need to give back to my wonderful community and that is why I am excited to announce the commencement of the M & S International School project in Plateau State, Jos South local government Bukuru. Education is the key to success.”

The Turkey-based star took to Instagram on Sunday, October 16, 2022, to announce the completion of the school project which is now fully opened has been named after his parents, Mr Musa and Mrs Sarah.

“I’m proud to name it after my parents. Mr Musa & Mrs Sarah ! M&S international school has now officially opened. Alhamdulillah,” he posted.

The M&S (Musa & Sarah) International School is situated in the Plateau State town of Bukuru in the Jos South LGA.
