Strong For Campaigns, Set For Presidency, Tinubu's 'Action' Video Speaks

Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who has been rumoured to be sick and under medical attention, appeared in a viral video while on a workout session.

This is apparently to counter naysayers who have repeatedly alleged that the APC presidential standard bearer is not healthy and fit for the rigours of electoral campaigns.

While some said he has abandoned the campaign, others rumoured that is dead.

The rumour became more rife in the last one week with the travelling of Tinubu to London, but his aides said it was for some important international engagements.

The London travel made him unable to attend the National Peace Accord signing ceremony held on Thursday in Abuja.

While presidential candidates of other political parties were present, Tinubu was only represented by his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.

The Peace Pact is an initiative aimed at ensuring that political actors and their supporters remain committed to having a peaceful campaign and shun violent acts during the elections.

His aides has been able to offer a clear explanation as to why he was absent at the meeting.

But in the video shared on his official Twitter handle on Sunday, which many of his critics now say was shot more than two years ago,  Tinubu was spotted on exercise bike in an attempt to that he is healthy and fit.

He said “Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign.

“Well… Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One,” @officialABAT tweeted.

See below the video showing Tinubu in top form. May have said the video was not recent:
