Spain International and Manchester City Star, Rodri emerged winner of the 2024 Ballon d’Or on Monday night at the iconic Théâtre du Châtelet in France, beating ever impressive Real Madrid duo Jude Bellingham and Vinícius Júnior to the second and third positions respectively.
The star studded event, at its 68th edition, as usual had all stakeholders of the round leather game in attendance. Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman who incidentally made history in his right by being the only African player in the 30-man list for the men’s award finished in the 14th position.
