His record breaking 400 leaked sextape has been one of the   most trending issues on the globe in the last two weeks.

Many, who choose to be funny about the entire scandal are looking at the exploits of Engonga and his ability to work below the belt of 400 women and still counting with the same intensity.

The social media wine simply dubbed “Legendary Balstar Herbal Libido Tonic” could be an instant hit for business minded wine producers especially with ready market among those who believe so much in sex enhancement drugs.

Meanwhile, the Government of Equatorial Guinea has formally filed a lawsuit against Baltasar Engonga, the former Director General of the country’s National Financial Investigation Agency, for alleged misconduct in connection with a sex tape scandal.

The government stated that the actions of the ex-anti-graft agency chief “violate the ethical and moral values of noble Equatorial Guinean society.”

Through the Minister of Information, Press, and Culture, Jerónimo Osa Osa, the government made this known over the weekend.

In a public address covered by local media platform Ahora EG, the Minister of Information announced that the Equatorial Guinean Government, through the State Attorney General’s Office, would initiate a thorough investigation into the acts committed by Baltasar Ebang Engonga.

The government views the scandal as a huge dent on the image of the country and vows to ensure that Engonga gets the full impact of the law to serve as deterrent to others who may be tempted to rubbish the image of the country.

“In light of these serious events, which severely undermine family and social cohesion, and considering the negative impact that this situation has on the good image of our country, tarnishing its reputation, the government, through the Public Prosecutor’s Office, has commenced a thorough investigation to establish responsibilities at the administrative, civil, and criminal levels, given the possibility of a public health impact,” reported the government spokesperson.

Recall that Primebusiness.africa had reported that the scandal has taken its toll with the death of one of the victims, with others considering their next line of action after discovering the magnitude of those involved and the spread like wild fire in the harmattan.
