Socialite Adeyanju Ademiposi, better known as Roman Goddess, has told those who judge a book by its cover to wake up and smell the coffee as the world appears to have left them behind.

She made the submission while reacting to what has been dubbed biggest trend of the century in neighbouring Equatorial Guinea, the sextape scandal involving new Internet poster boy, Baltasar Ebang Engonga.

According to the Roman Goddess, there is this erroneous believe that those with tatoos and display wild behaviours are the routine ones in the society, noting that the Engonga episode is a shocker to the ignorant but not to those who know that the pretenders do the worst. She noted that the women in the viral 400 videos are were well-dressed, innocent, and decent-looking, without tattoos or wild looks.

She questioned why women are often judged based on their appearance, stating that “innocent women do the most” and that even conservative women can be involved in scandalous activities.

Writing with some air of authority as one who has taken time to study the videos the Goddess  wrote:

“Watching the videos of this Guinea man who slept with 400 women and so far all l’ve seen is women who are well covered, no tattoos, no wild looks, just innocent and decent looking women.

“But you will always quick to judge the wild looking ones?, the ones with tattoos, the ones that love partying, …….well keep judging by looks. Innocent women do the most lol, especially those ones that covers up.”

Engonga just before his scandalous activities came to limelight was Director General of Equatorial Guinea National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF). The scandal has so far witnessed its first victim with one of the women in the videos taking her own life. Engonga on his part has been sacked on the orders of the country’s President, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. And like the Biblical submission ‘Let his habitation become desolate and his office let another man take’, Engonga has already been replaced by Zenón Obiang Obiang Avomo, according to a media outlet based in Equatorial Guinea, Ahora EG.

Engonga was fired for “irregularities committed in the exercise of his functions, as well as inappropriate family and social conduct for the performance of public functions, as stated in Decree number 118/2024, dated November 4.

Social analysts and investigators are still digging deep to unravel the reason for Engonga’s escapade, whether it is for fun, or he is chasing existing or nonexistent Guinness Book of Record.  The scandal has taken Equatorial Guinea to the roof  top in the last few weeks in searches on Google and other search engines.
