Nigerian stock exchange dip -0.07%, causing the equity capitalisation to lose N19.11 billion, as it depreciated to N26.72 trillion from N26.74 trillion on Thursday, amid sell-off in Vitafoam and UAC Nigeria.
This was on the back of the All-Share Index shedding 35.45 basis, to decline from 49,575.93 ASI to 49,540.48.

Top five gainers
- Sovereign Insurance share appreciated by 3.85 percent to rise from N0.26kobo to N0.27kobo per.
- Cadbury stock grew N0.35kobo, up from N13 to N13.35kobo per share.
- Courtville ended trading with N0.49kobo from N0.48kobo per share, rising by 2.08 percent.
- Zenith Bank gained N0.15kobo to end trading at N19.65kobo, having opened with N19.50kobo.
- UBA stock was up by 0.68 percent, closing with N7.45kobo from N7.40kobo per share.
Top five losers led by Vitafoam and UAC
- UAC Nigeria depreciated by N0.75kobo, dwindling from N11 to N10.25kobo per share.
- Vitafoam also fell by N1.25kobo to end trading at N20, after opening with N21.25kobo per share.
- UPDC REIT followed the same path, losing N0.20kobo after trading hours, to sell at N3.20kobo from N3.40kobo per share.
- UPDC reported a decline of 5 percent from previous day’s share price of N1 to end trading at N0.95kobo per share.
- Consolidated Hallmark Insurance share depreciated to N0.59kobo from N0.62kobo, after losing 4.84 percent during trading hours.

- Courtville reported 38.81 million shares valued at N18.24 million were traded on its floor.
- Access Corp recorded 28.47 million shares valued at N249.36 million.
- Fidelity Bank saw investors trade 10.81 million of its shares valued at N36.90 million.
- Transcorp recorded 10.68 million shares exchanged on its floor, worth N11.26 million.
- Consolidated Hallmark Insurance reported 9.22 million shares valued at N5.29 million exchanged investors’ hands.
