Portugal and Al Nassr Captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, estimated to be worth about $800 million as of November 2024, is on the verge of earning even more with a new Al Nassr contract on the table.
The 39-year-old former Manchester United and Real Madrid star, is on the verge of signing a new contract with Saudi Pro League club, Al-Nassr, which would be worth over £167.9 million.

The five time Ballon d Or winner made headlines when he joined Al-Nassr in January 2023 following his departure from Manchester United.
His initial contract included an impressive salary of around £164 million per season for his activities on the pitch, with an additional £49 million coming from off-field ventures.
It is safe to say that Ronaldo is not only playing and enjoying good pay for his services but he has indeed been contributing to the goodwill and economy as he has actively engaged in promoting Saudi Arabia through various initiatives, appearing in videos for the country’s National Day and visiting popular tourist spots.
He has also been a high-profile spectator at numerous boxing matches in Riyadh, further enhancing his connection to the region.
His presence in the Saudi Pro League has significantly influenced the league’s ambition to attract top talent, leading to the acquisition of stars like Neymar Jr., Karim Benzema, and N’Golo Kante, Sadio Mane to mention just a few.
According to Saudi outlet ‘Al Khabar’, Ronaldo is set to extend his contract, which is currently due to expire at the end of the season. This new agreement would see him earn approximately £3.19 million (€3.8 million) per week and £419,800 (€500,000) daily.
Throughout his time in Riyadh, Ronaldo has been remarkably successful on the field, scoring 75 goals in 84 appearances. However, his ongoing motivation to stay may also stem from his desire to achieve more significant honors with the club. So far, he has only won the 2023 Arab Club Championship with Al-Nassr, falling short in two title races against competitors Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal.

Currently, Al-Nassr are positioned in third place in the league, trailing both Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad, who are tied for the top spot with 37 points each.
