Relegation hunted Leicester City suffered a major setback on Friday after losing 4-0 at the King Power Stadium to visiting Brentford.
The Foxes, who have now gone six matches with just a win to show for their efforts, appeared more like spectators in what should have been their own party in the encounter.
Join our WhatsApp ChannelNigeria’s Wilfred Ndidi was in action for 77 minutes for the Foxes before making way for Oliver Skipp.
It looked more like a hopeless situation for the Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side who were booed by fans after the match.
Brentford who shot into the lead in the 17th minute thanks to Congo DR international Yoane Wissa were already three goals up at the end of first 45 minutes with Bryan Mbeumo, Christian Norgaard and Fabio Carvalho all on target for the Bees. Leicester have not scored in six straight home games.

“It’s been awful. Leicester seem lost on the pitch,” former Foxes captain Wes Morgan told Sky Sports at half-time. Ex-Leicester striker Alan Smith added: “There are many Leicester players who don’t want the ball and when they do, they don’t know what to do with it.”
It was a huge achievement for Brentford, who secured not only their first back-to-back wins of the season but also a club-record fourth straight Premier League away victory. They had failed to win a single game on the road this season before this run, which brings them into the race for Europe.

Call it a night of frustration for the Foxes and you will be right, as goalkeeper, Mads Hermansen and midfielder Boubakary Soumare, had to be separated from fighting each other.
It’s now 10 losses in 11 league games for the Foxes, who are staring relegation in the face.
Leicester have a torrid fixture run coming up as they play the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City in three of their next four.
On the evidence of their recent displays, collecting positive results from those games seems unlikely, and it could see them get cut adrift in the bottom three.
With an impending relegation to the Championship on the cards, the Foxes will have to brace themselves for a fire sale as Hermansen and Soumare are two of the several players who could jump ship.
Hermansen is wanted by Man United and the last time Leicester were in the second tier, Soumare was loaned to Sevilla.
That duo, along with Wilfred Ndidi, Jamie Vardy, Bilal El Khannous and Wout Faes could all exit the King Power, in what could pass for inevitable exodus.
Some interesting premier league fixtures lined up for today, include Everton against Manchester United, Arsenal against West Ham United and Aston Villa against Chelsea.
