Informa notes that Musk’s net worth has been growing rapidly at an average rate of 110% per year, making him the “clear favorite” to hit the $1 trillion first

The Tesla boss is already the richest person on the planet, with a fortune estimated at nearly $250 billion.

And if you think that the South African-Canadian cum American business man, investor and Engineer is waiting to hit the trillionaire mark before deciding on what to do with the additional dollar rain, you are wrong as he has already mapped out what to do that will wow the world.

He said “My plan is to use the money to get humanity to Mars & preserve the light of consciousness”

The submission has got many talking with some hailing his idea and others carrying placard over what they see as misplaced priority.

NotBroKen@solbrokken said “So, Elon Musk wants to be a trillionaire and take us to Mars? Meanwhile, we’re still struggling to fix problems here on Earth. Maybe we should focus on saving this planet before jumping to the next one. Priorities, right? 🌍🚀

Andre Nuta 🇺🇲@andre_nuta said “In the meantime let’s put the big bucks into winning this election in November, because if Trump loses all our dreams and aspirations will become meaningless! We win in November and than we go to Mars! 😎👊🔥🔥🔥🇺🇲🦅

SunStar @StarSun2 is elated at the thought and the plan saying “We are unimaginably fortunate to have Elon Musk among us in these pivotal times of the human civilization.

NeiroXRPL@neiroxrpl had this to say “Ah, the first trillionaire wants to take us all to Mars. Bold move, Elon. Guess we’re skipping affordable housing on Earth and going straight for Martian real estate instead. Priorities, right? 😂🚀

But james.dunn@nuvistic.com @WarpedUnits, speaking like one who is at home with the outer space and its current state, suggested heading to Venus instead of Mars, citing the size of Mars as reason for his suggestion, saying “Venus can be terraformed and is rich in minerals.  We can use current tech to begin terraforming Venus from orbit.Mars cannot be terraformed due to its small size.  Space suits will always need to be worn. Useful water and minerals seem in short supply”

Elon Musk, full name Elon Reeve Musk who clocked 53 this year, has a finger in every pie in terms of investment and this could be said to run in the family.
