A relationship that started four years ago during the National Youth Service in Bayelsa State was consummated on Saturday, September, 3, 2022 when Prime Business Africa’s Administrative Officer, Mr Olosunde Mayowa Richard and his heartthrob, Doctor Hannah Babalola tied the nuptial knot at the altar to live forever as husband and wife.
During the wedding service held at the First Baptist Church, Kosofe, Mile 12 in Lagos, Senior Pastor of the church, Reverend Festus Idowu Olatunde, admonished the couple on the need for mutual understanding and love, stressing that those virtues remain the critical factors that sustain marriages.
Reverend Olatunde noted that many marriages today suffer setbacks and many crises due to misunderstanding between couples, leading to separation in most cases.
Quoting relevant verses in the Bible, the cleric urged the new couple to imbibe the teachings of Christ on Christian marriage and adopt such love that He exhibited for the Church in their family to sustain it.
The cleric told them that there could be daunting challenges along the way but only strong love and faith in each other would enable them sustain their blissful union.
In a chat with Prime Business Africa shortly after their wedding, the groom, Mr Mayowa (as he’s fondly called by PBA staff), said their relationship which led to marriage had started when they met in Bayelsa State in 2018 during Doctor Hannah’s national youth service. They were both Deeper Life Bible Church faithful the platform under which they met as friends.
“We met in Bayelsa when Hanna my wife came for her national youth service in 2018. We met in Deeper Life Church where I was worshiping. We started our friendship from there, and that’s what eventually led to the marriage.
“We thank God for everything. We have understanding of togetherness in challenges all these years and God Almighty has been helping us overcome challenges and I thank Him for that. I can say that it was the will of God for us to be together because there are some relationships that do not survive that period of time, but God gave us the grace to be together. Now that we are husband and wife, I’m very, very happy,” an elated Mayowa told our correspondent regarding the wedding ceremony.
Hannah, the bride, is a licensed and practising medical doctor who graduated from the University of Lagos.
Mayowa prayed to God to keep them in the marriage to live and witness great things in their life together.
CEO of Newstide Publications Limited, publishers of Prime Business Africa, Dr Marcel Mbamalu, congratulated Mayowa for the successful wedding ceremony, noting that it was the first wedding of a staff of the company since it was founded in 2021.
Dr Mbamalu described the Admin Officer as a humble member ofthe team who constantly engages others and motivates himself to remain committed to achieving his personal targets. The media expert and consultant added that he has no doubt that Mayowa’s disposition had played great role in sustaining his relationship with his dear wife during their courtship.
“I have no doubt that Mr Mayowa’s disposition was instrumental to the sustenance of his relationship with Doctor Hannah during their courtship which I understand lasted for about four years before they eventually got married.
”May that love and understanding that sustained their relationship continue to strengthen the union. I wish them a successful marriage,” Dr Mbamalu stated.
