This landslide victory not only solidifies the PDP’s stronghold in the state but also sets a remarkable precedent for future political contests.
The election, spanning Edo North, Edo Central, and Edo South senatorial districts, witnessed enthusiastic participation from the electorate. The primary contenders, aside from the PDP, were the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Labour Party (LP).
