The event which took place at the Aderinokun Lecture Theatre, University of Lagos, Akoka, over the weekend saw the mother of four looking radiant and stepping out in style to receive her award to the admiration of all present.

Popularly called Mama G, G for General, Ozokwor who started as a broadcaster with Radio Nigeria before venturing into acting has featured in over 100 movies.
Her interpretation of roles and ability to submerge herself into the character being played has remained her unique selling point that endeared her to Nollywood fans over the years.
Some movies in which her well delivered role tickled the fans of many include, Husband my foot, Battle of Buka Street, Mother-In-Law and Bigger Fish to mention just a few.

Recall that Patience Ozokwor recently called on entertainment practitioners in the country to resist the temptation to live above their means to avoid stories that touch.
She noted that most actress seek help from the public when sick because of the expensive lifestyles and demand of the industry which makes it difficult for them to save.
“Because of the nature of our job, we are heavy-spenders. The clothes you wear matters to the world. We call it packaging. The worst is that you can’t even repeat your expensive clothes. These are the things that make us spend a lot of money. And then people pounce on you, they feel you’ve a lot of money because they see your face everywhere “she said recently.
