The lead was looking like a signal to bad day for the homers and their supporters but the two time league champions better known as the Pride of Benue responded five minutes later with an equaliser thanks to Segun Olatuboso.

Christian Nnaji increased the tally only for Olatunboso to make it a brace on the dot of 90 minutes to hand Lobi maximum three points and also show for their 65% to 35% dominance ratio in the encounter. It marked the second victory for Lobi stars in the five matches losing two and grabbing a draw all away.

As for Abia Warriors it was the third defeat in five matches with two wins one away and one at home.

In second match played Saturday, Kano Pillars defeated visiting Bendel Insurance by a lone goal courtesy of 7th minute added time penalty
