Ben, first housemate to be evicted after the pairing era, of the ongoing BBNaija season 9, is not a worried man, insisting that he has no regrets hitting the exit doors just three weeks to the end of the 71-day show.
Join our WhatsApp ChannelReflecting on his time in the house, Ben expressed gratitude for the experience, stating, “I’m not shocked by my eviction. I feel I got an extra week as a bonus.” Recall that Biggie announced eviction holiday following the dissolution of the pairing system to allow the housemates go solo and showcase their individual’s strong and weak points.
But on Sunday Ben became the first to be evicted in the solo run phase of ‘No Loose Guard’ reality show that promises to its winner N100m plus new SUV and other mouth-watering largesse that includes endorsements.
Although the pairing system has since been throw off the windows by Biggie, evicted Ben has been enjoying the dividends of pairing as he continued romantic involvement in the house with fellow housemate Chizoba.
Interestingly Chizoba became the second evictee of the night as announced by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. Nine housemates had been nominated viz Ben, Kellyrae, Kassia, Chizoba, Sooj, Topher, Victoria, Shaun, and Ozee
Their exit followed a tense nomination round, where housemates were required to openly nominate others for eviction.
With 14 housemates now left in the house, the contest is getting tougher as viewers look forward to the grand finale bill for Sunday October 6, 2024
Meanwhile Housemates Shaun and Wanni though nurturing special relationship in the house, say they have avoided putting a tag on it to avoid undue pressure and to allow them concentrating on chasing the coveted prize. The duo opened up in an interview with Ebuka duing the Sunday eviction show.

Shaun emphasised their desire to avoid pressure and focus on building a connection within the house.
However, Shaun said she chose not to label their relationship, highlighting their intention to avoid external pressure and focus on developing their connection within the house.
“In terms of the status? Well, I would say we are dating to know each other. We haven’t put a formal status on it. But we understand that outside the house, it can be a completely different experience. We don’t want to put ourselves under pressure.” said Shaun
Ebuka apparently seeking to properly underscore the scenario reminded Shaun about earlier submission by Wanni saying
“I mean, she [Wanni] put a title to it last week. She said she’s your girlfriend in the house.”, to which Shaun responded in the affirmative but painted a picture of uncertainty when they eventually get out of the house.
“Yeah, I don’t mind that. I’m officially her boyfriend. I don’t know for the outside but inside here, I am for sure. I’m exclusive to her in the house.” he said
