“Today’s cultural day (TURU UGO NATA) is aimed at meeting the objectives. Through the event, People will get to know that such organization exists in UNN. Nkanu students within this school, and other schools will therefore come to identify with their brothers/sisters.”
He further explained that the presence of the special adviser to the governor of Enugu State on students affairs, Hon. Chidi Ilogebe at the occasion would strengthen the spirit in Nkanu’s students. So, students from Nkanu will get to know that someone is always there for them.

It is true that someone may have friends in his/her department, faculty or anywhere, but one being together with people of his culture, creates in such person the innate sense of belonging and trust. Cultural day also creates room for fun.”

During an award presentation to the national president of NUNS, the current president of the association, UNN chapter, Ngene Jonathan commended his leadership (Ebubedike) qualities.

Ngene noted that when Ebubedike was student of UNN, he was a president of the association, UNN chapter, and helped NUNS in so many ways, hence, the decision of the organisation “to give him an award in honor of all he has been doing for the organisation.”
