Here are some of the rising stars to look out for in 2025:

Ayorinde Ayodele, popularly known as Ayo Maff, made a resounding entry into the limelight with viral singles in 2024. His hit track, “Are You There,” struck a chord with music lovers across the country. Known for his chart-topping single, “Dealer,” Ayo Maff has collaborated with top artistes such as Fireboy, Blaqbonez, and Bella Shmurda.

In 2024, Dealer became one of the most streamed songs on Spotify Nigeria, solidifying his position as a fan favourite.

Mannywellz, though not a newcomer, captured the hearts of many in 2024, especially among women of colour. His resilience and talent earned him a spot on Google’s list of the most searched Nigerian personalities in 2024.

Ugbekile Osemeke, popularly known as Boy Spyce, had fans swooning this year with his romantic anthem, I Don’t Care. According to Google Trends, “I Don’t Care” was the most searched song by Nigerians in 2024, further cementing Boy Spyce’s status as a rising star.

Social media comedian, Lawal Nasir, better known as Nasboi, has successfully transitioned back to music. After making waves last year with his viral hit Umbrella, he continued his journey in 2024 with singles such as “Small Money” and “Short Skirt.” His Extended Play album, In Nasboi I Trust, features collaborations with big names like 2baba, Falz, Joeboy, Chike, and MI, proving his versatility as an artiste.
