4. Otti Orders Immediate Rescue Of Kidnapped School Children in Abia
Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has ordered the swift action to rescue school kids of same parents who were kidnapped by a motorcycle operator at Ikwuano.
According to reports by the Commissioner of Information, Prince Okey Kanu, the governor expressed his grief over the incident. Otti said he had instructed the security agencies to rescue the missing kids unhurt. He said that the governor have personally called the parents and had assured them that the state would do something about it.
5. Cardiologist Warns That Other Factors Contribute to Blood Pressure
Consultant Physician and Nephrologist at the Federal Medical Center, Ebutte Metta, Lagos, Dr Danladi Nmadu has warned that other factors apart from reduction in salt intake can contribute to raising blood pressure. In a media cha, Nmadu said the reduction in salt intake does not just include table salt but also seasonings which contain a lot of salt. He stated that reducing salt intake is ineffective without appropriate reduction of seasonings in food.

Al-Ittihad striker, Karim Benzema is set to leave his Saudi Arabian club.
According to Relevo, during his last visit to Madrid, he told his friends of his intentions to leave the club due to the low level of competition and perceived lack of professionalism which he (Benzema) is not satisfied with.

Another Benue girl identified as Margaret Oyibo Atayi was found dead in Abuja in the late hours of Monday.
Margaret who hails from Ugbokolo Okpokwu LGA of Benue State was declared missing on Friday, 17th May, 2024. She was last seen around City College of Education, Abacha Road, Mararaba, near Abuja at about 3pm on Friday, 17th May, 2024.

Grammy award Winner, Burna Boy, is set to join the Nigeria movie industry known as Nollywood.

The Lagos State government has announced the launch of cybersecurity project in the state.
