Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, has emerged as the winner of the 2023 presidential election in Ebonyi State.
Obi was declared the winner by the Collation Officer for Ebonyi State, Prof Charles Igwe, who is the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria (UNN).

Prof Igwe, who announced the results at the Ebonyi Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) collation centre in Abakaliki, the capital of the State on Tuesday, said Obi polled 259738 while Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scored 42402 votes taking the second position.
Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic (PDP) scored 13,503 votes.
