Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers is looking forward to the availability of Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi for Thursday’s Europa League clash against Spartak Moscow that parades former Super Eagles forward Victor Moses.
Join our WhatsApp ChannelNdidi has missed seven games in total for the Foxes due to a hamstring injury but was named on the bench for last Saturday’s league fixture against Arsenal which Leicester lost 2-0 to the revamped Gunners.
“Hopefully. He has just trained this week. He was one that if we needed him for 15 or 20 minutes maximum, that was our plan, but chasing the game (against Arsenal) there wasn’t that need to put him on,” Rodgers told the press ahead of Thursday evening’s game.
“It is great to have him back and available and we will see how his fitness looks over the coming days,” Rodgers enthused.
Leicester will face Russians Spartak Moscow in their latest Europa League fixture, with the two teams occupying the bottom places in Group C.
