Ahiara Junction and its surrounding business areas were terrorized, inflicting chaos and fear upon a community known for its hospitality and industry.
“This was a Dark Monday for a peace-loving community,” lamented Unegbu. “A sacrilege of such magnitude has left our people traumatized, and we are all casualties.”

The organization extends heartfelt condolences to the families of the slain officers and the deceased community member, expressing solidarity with Imo State Commissioner of Police, Mr Aboki Danjuma, and the entire security apparatus during this challenging period.
“May the soul of the departed rest in peace,” prayed Unegbu.
The recent arrests of alleged perpetrators by the police have brought some relief to the community, signaling a warning to those engaging in nefarious activities.
NAI, while acknowledging this step, urges fairness in the pursuit of justice, ensuring innocent residents aren’t unfairly targeted.
Looking ahead, NIA pledges support to law enforcement agencies, traditional leadership, community watch groups, and civil societies to restore and maintain peace in Nnarambia.
Unegbu emphasized, “We will galvanize our eminent sons and daughters to ensure Nnarambia remains safe, solidifying its position as the heartbeat of Mbaise urban development and cultural heritage.”
