Italian Serie A Side Napoli have completed a £30 million Romelu Lukaku deal further mounting more pressure on want away Super Eagles and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.
The Belgian and Chelsea star who has been on loan to Inter Milan is a fast striker just like Osimhen and Napoli may have indirectly settled for a player that can match the accuracy and speed of Osimhen, who is on the verge of leaving the club.

After rejoining Chelsea in 2021 for a substantial sum of £97.5 million, Lukaku spent the last two seasons on loan in Italy, first with Inter and then with Roma.

Lukaku’s departure from Chelsea has allowed the club to relieve themselves of the significant financial burden of his £350,000-a-week wages. He has been earning the said amount even though he hasn’t played for The Blues since May 2022.

Negotiations are currently underway, with Chelsea and Al-Ahli both vying for the signature of the 25-year-old Nigerian striker.
