Former Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi, has revealed that Real Madrid forward, Eden Harzard who was his teammate whilst at Chelsea, is one of the most misunderstood players he has played with.
Harzard took the Premier League by storm and was unarguably one of the best players ever to grace Stamford Bridge.

“I never knew what training meant to these guys until I joined Chelsea.
“The way they play in games, the way they train; there are tackles flying in, there are fights in training, like proper boxing in training, because everybody wants to be in the starting eleven,” Mikel told Dubaiye Radio.

Harzard’s numerous goals and impressive performances were vital in many victories.
The Belgian scored 110 goals in 352 appearances for the Blues during his stint with the London club.
The then-Chelsea star won the Premier League Player of the Season in 2014–f15 with a total of 14 goals and 9 assists in domestic league action.
“He never trains, the laziest footballer I have ever seen in my life.
“Then he will produce on the weekend and he is awarded the Man of the Match. He will come with his trophy and be like ‘you see?’,” Mikel disclosed.
Real Madrid was intrigued by Hazard’s spectacular performance and, for a sum of €100 million, acquired his signing as the ideal successor for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Since his move to Santiago Bernabéu, the attacker has only scored four league goals in four seasons mainly due to consistent injury problems.
