The 267-page book is divided into five sections, each of which focuses on different but related themes. Some of them include the evolution of the oil and gas industry and local content, as well as current issues like the impact of oil companies’ divestitures and Presidential Directives on the development of local content.

Among the sections are the case studies on the 10-year strategic roadmap for Nigerian content and the major initiatives related to Nigerian content, as well as how stakeholder engagement and strategic communication made these initiatives possible.
It also contains a treatise on local content compliance and enforcement, along with the results of an empirical study on the influence of Nigerian content communications on compliance by oil and gas companies.
