Hollywood actor Jonathan Majors is once again in a legal dispute with his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. The lawsuit, filed in New York federal court, alleges a series of disturbing incidents dating back to 2021, including assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, malicious prosecution, and defamation.

The saga between Majors and Jabbari began in 2021 during the filming of Marvel’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” in London, where the two crossed paths and subsequently were involved in a romantic relationship.

Their relationship evolved, leading them to cohabit in a London apartment while Majors filmed Season 2 of Marvel’s “Loki” series in 2022.

According to her lawsuit, she endured a harrowing ordeal of physical and emotional abuse, coupled with controlling behavior, throughout their time together. Jabbari recounts distressing incidents in Los Angeles and London, where she claims Majors subjected her to violent outbursts, including shoving her into a shower door, throwing her against a car hood, and strangling her until she felt unable to breathe.

The gravity of the situation escalated in March 2023, resulting to a confrontation in New York City, which resulted in Majors being found guilty of two misdemeanor counts of harassment and assault against Jabbari.

Furthermore, the defamation allegation stems from Majors’ remarks in a “Good Morning America” interview following his conviction, where he adamantly denied ever laying hands on a woman. This statement contradicted Jabbari’s accounts and exacerbated the legal battle.

The repercussions of Majors’ legal entanglement have reverberated throughout his professional life. Marvel swiftly severed ties with him, terminating his role as Kang the Conqueror, and his upcoming project, “Magazine Dreams,” was removed from Searchlight’s release calendar. Despite these setbacks, Majors made a public appearance at the NAACP Awards alongside his girlfriend, Meagan Good.
