Musical diva, Jennifer Lopez, says she has no interest in dating at least for now, thus breaking her silence since the split with Ben Affleck after two years of marriage.
The 5-year-old singer and model said she needed to be alone again after leaving Ben, saying:
Join our WhatsApp Channel“You have to be healthy. You have to be complete, if you want something that’s more complete. You have to be good on your own. I thought I learned that, but I didn’t. And then, this summer, I had to be like, “I need to go off and be on my own. I want to prove to myself that I can do that.”’
But the artist has no regrets: ‘Not one second. That doesn’t mean it didn’t almost take me out for good. It almost did.’
Lopez also said during her in-depth interview that she is not hoping to date someone else at the moment: ‘I’m not looking for anybody.’
She however admitted that the break up was hard adding “It feels lonely, unfamiliar, scary. It feels sad. It feels desperate,
“These things are not going to kill me,” it’s like actually, I am capable of joy and happiness all by myself. Being in a relationship doesn’t define me. I can’t be looking for happiness in other people. I have to have happiness within myself. I used to say I’m a happy person, but was still looking for something for somebody else to fill, and it’s just like, “No, I’m actually good.”

The Songbird, model and actress who has starred in over five dozen films including “Nurses on the Line: The Crash of Flight 7”, shotgun Wedding, and to be announced duo of Kiss of the Spider Woman and Office Romance, went philosophical while revealing one thing she loves about life.
“I think that’s what I love about life, that there’s no arrival point. ‘There’s only getting better and growing if you want to. It’s either growing or dying, and I don’t want to do the dying part”
Recall that Jenifer and Ben split in April and she filed for divorce on August 20 which was their two-year wedding anniversary.
