Iheanacho, Onyekuru Involved In ‘Fight’ At Super Eagles Camp In Garoua

January 10, 2022

There was mild drama in the Super Eagles abode in Garoua, Cameroon as the duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Henry Onyekuru were involved in what appeared to be a fight.

In a viral video making the rounds, Iheanacho was seen saying something to Onyekuru which made the latter drag him by the jugular.

Onyekuru who only made the team after the trio of Odion Ighalo, Emmanuel Dennis and Victor Osimhen were dropped from the Eagles’ Africa Cup of Nations squad due to their clubs’ hard stance on releasing them threatened to ‘beat up’ Iheanacho and dragging him into a room.

However any fears of a crisis brewing up in the team was allayed by the laughter of their teammates particularly Chidozie Awaziem, Sadiq Umar, Oluwasemiloge Ajayi and the voice of Wilfred Ndidi who apparently was the ‘cameraman behind the fight scene’ in the camp.

The two minutes video ends with both Iheanacho and Onyekuru laughing heartily and ending whatever caused their playful quarrel.
