The application process typically takes between 10 days to one month to process, ensuring a relatively swift response for those eager to embark on this journey. If you plan to work for a company remotely, be sure to provide a valid letter of employment as part of your application.

Financial Requirements and Taxes for Digital Nomads

€75 application fee.

€150 administration fee.

As of October 2023, a minimum monthly salary of at least €3,500.

If you plan to bring your spouse and one dependent, you must demonstrate a monthly earning capability of €4,830.

In terms of taxes, if your stay in Greece as a digital nomad is less than six months, you won’t be required to pay taxes. However, once you exceed this duration, you will become liable for tax obligations.
