Despite the ouster of Borussia Dortmund, Serhou Guirassy left with his head high as the highest goal scorer at the end of the two legged quarter-final clashes.

Dortmund were sent packing on Wednesday night after a 3-1 win over Barcelona, a result what however failed to save Dortmund who had lost 4-0 in the first leg.

Barca progressed on 5-3 aggregate thus ending Serhou Guirassy hopes of extending his goal haul. The

Guinean international scored 13 goals, one goal more than any other player in the tournament.

Guirassy’s remarkable performance includes a stunning hat-trick in the Tuesday match against FC Barcelona, helping Dortmund secure a win.

He now finds himself just one goal ahead of Barcelona and Brazilian winger, Raphinha, who has scored 12 goals so far in the tournament.

Aside from leaving on high, the 29 year old also won the Player of the Match Award in the 2024-2025 UEFA Champions League quarter-finals second-leg game between Borussia Dortmund and FC Barcelona on Tuesday, April 15.
