Al Hilal were keen on Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe but both superstars turned down their offers, the latter perhaps the biggest shock to football followers.

Transfer news from reputable British tabloids indicate that the Saudi giants have tabled an offer of £120m for the signature of the Super Eagles star.

Osimhen’s Serie A side, SS Napoli, who won the Scudetto last season have outrightly turned down the transfer inquest without giving the Saudi multi billionaires any option for a higher bidding.

Osimhen according to reports has been offered weekly wages in the region of £1m per week to sign for the club.

The former Nigerian youth international reiterated in an interview during his holiday stint in Lagos

Napoli is hoping to offer Osimhen a new two-year deal to remain at the Italian capital and avoid a big-money move to any of the clubs interested in him which hitherto also includes Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
