The NFF were recently fined about N64m by FIFA for fans’ trouble after the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff against Ghana at the Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja on March 29.

The former Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr took the NFF to FIFA and demanded for $1m compensation for unfair dismissal.

Rohr was sacked by the NFF in December 2021, just weeks before the start of the AFCON in Cameroon.

The NFF had agreed to pay Rohr’s salary until the end of his contract, which expires in December 2022, but he went to FIFA to demand an additional money for damages.

According to the report coming from FIFA, its Dispute Resolution Chamber on April 22nd, 2022 delivered the final judgment on the matter and order the NFF to pay Rohr all his wages and benefits until December 2022.
