Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani Kayode’s perspective on the matter has also come to light. In a post on his X page, Fani Kayode commended the departed clergyman for his positive contributions.

One notable absence in this discourse has been the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), a prominent religious organization with the responsibility of safeguarding the interests and values of Christians in the country.
