Owumi known for her energetic dancing style and one of the non-dull moment contestants in the median edition of the reality show, reportedly died after a brief illness.

She shared the house with notable contestants including current show achor of the Reality show Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Gideon Okeke, late Joseph Ada and eventual winner of the maiden edition held between March 5 and June 4, 2006, Katung Aduwak.

After her reality TV stint, Owumi explored her passion for music, releasing two singles, “Gbadun You” and “Diva”, under her record label, Cisca Entertainment, in 2012. She was also a writer for Revista, an international magazine based in Ghana.

Recall that Big Brother Nigeria then originally had 12 original housemates: Frank, Ify, Ebuka, Chinedu, Francisca, Gideon, Helen, Ichemeta, Joan, Joseph, Maureen and Yinka. Katung and Sandy would later enter the house as wild card entries.

While family and friends have been thrown into mourning, some recalled with nostalgia her activities during the reality show that made the edition thick.

@rosyboboye1 said  “Oh Franca of Ebuka season and love interest then, oh May God rest her soul.”
