Super Falcons have had a feel of Matmut Atlantique Stadium, venue of the opening match against Brazil on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
Falcons who have continued their shape up in Bordeaux after camping in Seville Spain, will be hoping to earn a good result in the opener to build confidence ahead of other clashes against world cup champions Spain and Japan respectively in coming days.

It has a maximum seating capacity of 42,115, the largest sporting and cultural arena in the south west of France.
With three possible stage configurations (front, side and central), it is designed to host concerts, musicals, festivals, operas and many more cultural spectacles.

The Matmut Atlantique has at its disposal several high quality and modular reception areas which can host up to 4,400 VIP guests.
The Matmut Atlantique was opened May 23, 2015 and cost €183 million to build.
Since its opening, the stadium has been the home stadium to FC Girondins de Bordeaux, who played the first match against Montpellier on 23 May 2015, a few days after the stadium opened.
The same year, the stadium hosted the finals of the 2014/15 Top 14 rugby union season, aswel as a friendly match between the French and Serbian football teams.
In 2016, it paid host to five matches of the UEFA European Football Championship, including one quarter-final. The 2018 Coupe de la Ligue Final was hosted at Matmut Atlantique and now it is amongst the six stadiums listed to host football during the 2024 Summer Olympics, set to take place in Paris.
Musical artists who have performed at the stadium include Céline Dion, Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd and Guns’N’Roses.
Twelve countries qualified for the women football event of the Paris 2024 Olympics and will compete in three groups as follows, with Canada as defending Champions:
Group A: France, Colombia, Canada, New Zealand.
Group B: United States, Zambia, Germany, Australia.
Group C: Spain, Japan, Nigeria, Brazil.
