While speaking on what he hopes to do when he emerges as the governor at the November 6 Anambra governorship elections, Etiaba considered critical areas that will positively impact the youth of Anambra.

“I will create an enabling environment for investors to invest in agriculture, tackle unemployment by creating jobs for the youth. I will also look at sports development in Anambra.

He said that there are many billionaire sons of Anambra in the diaspora. We will create a forum where they can meet with business elites and know why they are not investing at home.

The AA candidate promised to fulfill every single promise he is making, he said ” It is very important to fulfill campaign pledges, I have won five major elections and I have never been opposed for re-election.

Etiaba whose mother, Dame Virginia Ngozi Etiaba was a one-time governor of the state, the first female administrator in the country under democratic dispensation opined that Anambra is broken, shattered, and is in need of healing.

Furthermore, he said politics can be chaotic but he has come to change the narrative because he intends to bring in serious-minded people as “we cannot allow mad people take over the asylum.”

Etiaba said sports development will be a key part of his blueprint to make Anambra great as he hopes the state will be a conveyor belts of sporting talents that will become worthy ambassadors of the state and country in general.
