As Manchester United new coach, Ruben Amorim, continues in his quest to make the Reds the team to beat, former Manchester United playmaker, Paul Scholes, says the team will need massive overhaul.
Scholes who scored over 107 goals for Manchester United during his playing days says that Amorim may need to offload as many as 14 players in the course of shaping the team.
Join our WhatsApp ChannelScholes maintained that Amorim has a far bigger rebuilding job on his hands at Old Trafford than Mikel Arteta did at Arsenal.
Amorim, 40 has endured a tough start to his time at United and recently described the team as the worst in the club’s history.
Arteta found Arsenal in a similar state when he replaced Unai Emery five years ago. But he gradually built a team that has competed for the Premier League title in the last three seasons. Arteta began by getting rid of the likes of Matteo Guendouzi, Mesut Ozil and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.
Amorim appears to be on a similar path having left Marcus Rashford out of his match day squad for over a month. The former Sporting Lisbon boss is also not playing Casemiro.

In their last Europa league outing, United ran away with a 2-1 victory over visiting Scottish League side, Rangers.
