How to Perform Airtime Transfer on Airtel:

Airtel Me2U Service: The Airtel Me2U service offers a unique capability allowing subscribers to share their credit and data with other users within the Airtel Network. This means you can easily recharge your line and share it with friends, family, or colleagues who are also on the Airtel network. Please note that the daily transfer limit is set at N5000. Instructions on sharing data on Airtel are also available.

Changing Your Default Me2U Transfer PIN: To ensure the security of your transactions, it’s advised to change your default PIN to a personalized one. Follow these steps to do so:

Open your text message app and compose a message in this format: PIN – default PIN – new PIN. For instance, send PIN 1234 4567 to 321.

Send the message to the number 321.

If the process is successful, you’ll receive a confirmation message notifying you that your PIN has been changed to 4567. After this, you’ll be able to transfer credit to other Airtel Mobile network users.

Steps for Transferring Credit on Airtel Lines: To transfer credit from your Airtel line, adhere to the following steps:

Dial *321# from the line you wish to transfer credit from.

– Select the “Airtel to Airtel” option.

– Enter the recipient’s phone number.

Input your Me2U PIN.

Confirm the transfer by responding with “1.” In addition to the above method, you can also transfer airtime by sending a message containing the following details: 2u Phone Number Amount PIN, send this message to 321. For example, if you want to transfer N1000 with a PIN of 4567, send 2u 08012345678 1000 6565 to 321.

Note:

Successful transfers incur a cost of N10. However, there are no charges for changing your PIN or inquiring about services.

Airtel Credit Me Service:

The Airtel Credit Me service empowers you to request airtime that you can pay for upon your next recharge. Notably, you can also request airtime from friends or family on the Airtel network. In situations where you lack sufficient airtime for an urgent call, you can request assistance from your contacts. Just dial 1418*recipient number# and your recipient will receive a message prompting them to recharge you (Please Credit Me).

 

I forgot my Airtel Data Me2u PIN – How do I Retrieve it?

If you forgot your Airtel Me2U pin you can retrieve it by dialing *321# and then choosing “PIN Management”. Then follow the prompts to retrieve your Airtel Me2U PIN.

 

 

How to send Airtime from Airtel to MTN

You can only transfer airtime from Airtel to Airtel. You cannot transfer airtime from Airtel to Mtn. Airtel Me2U service doesn’t support this service. So you can’t transfer airtime from Airtel to MTN, Glo, or 9mobile line, only Airtel numbers line.
