Osimhen Misses Out As Eguavoen Unveils 23-Man Squad

Ahead of the two-legged 2025 AFCON Qualifiers against Mediterranean Knights of Libya, Super Eagles Coach Austin Eguavoen has named a 23-man-squad for the Uyo assignment on Friday October 11.

As previously reported by Primebusiness.africa that Galatasaray new man Victor Osimhen will be out of the team, the former Napoli talisman was indeed out of the team following injury he sustained while playing for his new club in match he grabbed a brace.

But the regulars made the team with  Captain William Ekong leading the pack.  The players are due in Uyo from Monday October 7.

Eagles who made a good run in the last two qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda will head to Libya for return leg on Tuesday October 15.
